One musician and a professional caller. It is the simplest way to get a real ceilidh into your evening: the caller teaches each dance before the music starts, talks the room through it, and the live music carries it.

It is a live ceilidh and nothing else, which keeps it the most affordable way to book Are Ye Dancin’.

Every package is up to 4 hours of performance unless agreed otherwise with Garry, and extra hours are £120 per hour. Travel is free within 100 miles of Perth.

Who it suits

  • Smaller rooms. As a rough guide one musician and a caller comfortably fills a room of around 80 guests.
  • Birthdays, anniversaries and parties where the ceilidh is the main event.
  • Weddings where the evening already has a DJ or playlist sorted for afterwards.

There is no DJ set with this package. If you want the dancing to carry on after the ceilidh, look at Solo Ceilidh + DJ.

Booking it

Check your date and tell us about your night. Garry phones you back, your booking agreement follows to sign, and the deposit that secures the date comes off the final total. Anything unusual about your venue, date or timings is quoted up front, before you commit.
